Hello.....

Happy September Everyone.

We have just got back from Cornwall. We were meant to go last Christmas but we got snowed in and they were very kind to transfer our holiday to this Summer. We had already booked our Summer holiday, so that's why we went away twice! It was a wonderful Forest Site but I am so pleased to be home now and get back to crafting! It was banned for the holidays. I normally sneak a little bit of crafting in when hubbie is having an afternoon nap but I didn't this time, so I am itching to get back to it this week, so watch out!

After unpacking on Friday evening, I had to pack a bag again as some of My Team joined me in Leeds for a Stampin UP Event. It was wonderful to see the lovely ladies up North, so it was well worth the long journey. I haven't really travelled by Train much but it was really smooth but very very busy, so glad we had prebooked our seats.

We had a Table as well, so we crafted to whole way to Manchester. We made some button bracelets and got some very funny looks from the other passengers when the buttons were all tipped out over the table. The Trolley lady kept coming back to talk to us and see what we were up too. If she didn't have to work, I think she would have joined us! See Crafting is so good for people. Then we got some stamps out and did a few bits, an on board Workshop! hee hee

We thought we were doing so well but when we changed at Manchester and met up with Maria, the train was late leaving as the driver hadn't arrived and then some kind sole STOLE the signals half way to Leeds, so the Train had to divert and go a longer way. We ran to the Taxi and jumped in. He was kindly giving us a Tour of Leeds, We were all thinking it is very lovely here but put your foot down we have some Crafting waiting for us.

We were LATE! Sorry to the other Ladies, for the noise as we arrived, we were very giddy!

We got to see the New Catalogue, We all wanted to Smell and Touch it!!!! hee hee It is wonderful. I have ordered the New Catalogues so if you want one drop me a line and I will get it sent out to you with a little Surprise........:)

We always swap anytime we meet up and these were mine. Very simple ones as I haven't been home much this summer. They are all 9.5cm x 9.5cm square card bases, you can get three of these from one sheet of A4 cardstock. The colours are Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight. The stamp sets used are Confetti, Curly Cute and Pocket Silhouettes.

The butterflies are the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die and the tiny flower in the itty bitty punch.

The decorative label was cut in half and added to the layer of very vanilla 9cm x 9cm and then I used the crop a dile to punch two holes for the ribbon to go through and tied a bow with the 1/8" Taffeta ribbon. This colour is retiring soon, so check out the retirement list on the top left!

The paper used on the bottom of these cards are 4.5cm x 9cm and they are from the Brights paper stack. The sentiment was punched out using the modern label punch. The tiny pearls were added to the butterflies and again the background is the Confetti stamp set, which is an ideal set for backgrounds etc.

You can see more clearly here.

My boys go back to School on Thursday. My Eldest passed all his exams, bless him. He is now going to be able to stay on at Sixth Form doing an ICT BTEC course, Phew!

My Youngest took four GCSE's early and some parts of his GCSE's and got all A* in all of them! It will be his turn to do the final Exam's next June, so we will be doing all this again next year....But for now we can all relax and get back to enjoying Life.

Stamp Classes are BACK Tomorrow, It will be wonderful to see all the Ladies again. So Check back later for the Cottage Garden Stamp Class.

Until now...
